Micro League by Jeff Ehinger Coded in Python 2.7 with the Pygame module. Packaged with PyInstaller 3.1.1 This program may be freely distributed as long as it is not modified without permission and includes this text file. How to play: You only play on offense in this game. Click on one of the three spinners on the left side of the screen, and you will get one of the three potential results from it. The spinner is then removed and replaced with a new one. The goal is to try and score as many runs as you can in five innings. (The number of innings can be changed in the options.txt file). The names.txt file contains names from some late 19th and early 20th century baseball rosters, plus a few I made up. The first and last names are parsed out and then shuffled to create the random player names for the game. You can add additional names to the file if you want. Note that each name must be first and last only, with a space in between. Changelog v1.1 4/1/16 - Added pickoffs. - Added high score tracking. You can now mouse over the runs on the scoreboard to see the current high score. - Fixed issue with spinners remaining clickable when they shouldn't. v1.2 4/2/16 - Slightly changed the logic for ground ball and defensive play outs. - Fixed issue with spinners remaining clickable after a pickoff third out. - There is now a message on the game over screen if you beat your previous high score. v1.3 7/5/16 - If a fly ball is caught and it's the final out of the inning, a runner on 3rd will make it across home plate and score, but a runner on 2nd will not. v1.4 2/28/20 - Fixed random names so there shouldn't be so many duplicate first/last names. - You can mouse over the innings on the scoreboard to see the total number of innings. - Slight balance adjustments to spinner generation.
